    Re living the very far past atrocities brings more trauma on all of us. Our country has grown and done better. AND there is no place in our churches to be discussing this in this way. I am white and am not racist therefore I have nothing to repent for in this realm. I repent often to a holy God for many other sins but I take issue with being made to "feel" bad that I am white. If a sovereign God chose you and chose me then we are identical in His eyes. Yes, there is still racism but there is also many other sins. Stick to teaching expositorily and we will all learn to love each other better leaving race out of it!!!

    I have been discriminated against for the color of my skin. I have been up for promotion now 3 times and have interviewed 3 times. All three times I was told that I had the qualifications, that I had the right experience, that I gave a fantastic interview, and that I was an exemplary employee. When I asked, “If you all feel that way, what would you recommend for me to work on between now and the next promotion that comes available?” I was then told that there wasn’t anything that I could work on. That as long as a member of a minority race interviewed, I would not get the promotion even if I was more qualified. I was shocked. I asked why that mattered and was told it wasn’t personal against me but that the company had to protect itself from racial discrimination lawsuits. My boss and even a few of the supervisors from other departments that sat in on the interview process apologised to me and said that they would have loved to have had me joining them. I’ve lost so much in opportunity, experience, and finance because I happen to be a white man. It wasn’t right when those things happened to others and it isn’t right that it’s happening (even now)to me. We live in a sad, silly, and pathetic world.

    -Why don't people make disciples? My answer. Because they don't teach children how then children can become disciples of Jesus. The Holy Spirit teaches children and they come to faith more easily than adults who do not understand, for example Pentecostals. Me too when I was 3 years old and it was wonderful at the time. Yes Jesus himself did become blessed and many others as well.

    Colour blindness has always meant treating people the same regardless of race. If that's a problem then you're advocating for treating people differently based on their skin color. What way should I treat a black person than differs from how I treat a white person?

    If a person knowingly acts like they don't know something intently to catch someone -- I think that is reverse racism. Someone always knows something and targeting an individual who is different than you is a random act. It happens so much you realize it is deviant and it is teaching you bottle up what is inside and hide it away instead of searching outside of yourself and expressing discontent. The point of it is to compete by showing and not telling why you are not a human being. It is always about something you know and not because you make errors, get tired, and rely on relieving yourself of burden instead. That is how a stranger can victimize you.

    He is confusing racism with systemic racism. Of course, a black person can be racist. What he means is that a white person does not experience systemic racism within our culture. He is not honest.

    I will even go a step farther then you did and say that most of the Christian world is deceived by not believing the word of God over church doctrine. Jesus said in Revelations 3. Poor, blind, naked and wretched and NOT EVEN KNOWING IT. DECEIVED Most denominations believe the Catholic Church is wrong and teaches deception. Yet most denominations follow some of her doctrines that are not in the Bible. Such as water baptism in the three titles Father, Son and HS, instead of His Name. It is Not in the Bible, it is a deception, they are daughters of her because of it. Jesus said, come out of her and be not partakers of her deceptions. God Bless

    What continually was missed in this conversation back in 2020 by those trying to justify BLM (thus, BLM didn't age well), is that we KNEW the organization was-bare minimum-suspect. The principle being distinct from the organization didn't help in the discourse because the principle is self-evident (as Thabiti said, but he doesn't treat it as such... like the movement). The resulting problem is that the dialogue accidentally *needs* racism to be systemic in order to be a value. And since no one wants to lay down their anti-racist values, the principle cannot be allowed to prevail-to the left who press BLM and the alleged "principle." The solution works like this-stop tying Christian social justice to obviously fleshly movements (an attempt at justification by law, which is *another* "gospel"), and depend entirely on the sufficient solution provided in the word (God's gospel solution because actual racism is a heart issue), particularly Paul's instruction for the churches.

    Didn't really hear a convincing argument against colorblindness here. John McWhorter, Coleman Hughes, etc. all do a better job providing data and evidence to support a colorblind approach. If you're not for colorblindness then you're for the notion that groups of people must be treated different or special on account of their skin color, which is a blunt and cruel way to navigate the world.

    • @TrophyGuide101
      @TrophyGuide101 5 месяцев назад

      It's telling that they never give examples. If treating people the same is a problem then you want us to treat people differently based on their race. What are some differences in how we should treat black people compared to white people? They will never provide an answer to this question because they know it will sound insane.

    A meritocracy is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. If you want to hire a pilot, for example, race should not be a concern, you want the best most competent person you can find at flying the aircraft. Even the term “color-blind” is race-loaded. We need to go beyond color and look more at merit, and qualifications.

  • @RedMcc

    This isnt biblical. Social Justice isnt biblical. Racial Justice isnt biblical. Justice doesnt need a modifier. Its trying to run the Gospel through a man centered filer. You are competing with the world on the worlds terms Paul covered colorblindness and it is EXACTLY what we should strive for. Gal 3:28...There is neither Jew nor Greek. Keep this kind of videos up, stop calling yourself a Christian.

    Salvation is a free GIFT from God. Romans 6:23. Discipleship is for rewards in heaven, First Corinthians 3:11-15, and to keep from the chastening of the Lord for the saved sinner. Colossians 3:5-6. First Corinthians 5:5. Turn such a one over to Satan to kill the flesh, so that his Spirit, Ephesians 1:13-14, may be saved in the day of the Lord. This was a born again believer who was sleeping with his fathers wife. He was about to lose his life, and the rewards in heaven he could have had, but the man was still saved. John 3:18. Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit in whom ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. The rapture of the church. First Corinthians 15:51-53, and First Thessalonians 4:13-18. First John 2:2 For He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but for the sins of the whole world. John 3:18. John 6:47. God cannot lie. The only reason I cannot go to hell is because I have no sins to pay for. Jesus died, paid my sin debt in full, Romans 4:7-8, so I can never be condemned again.
